DoTheChange.com - Pioneering Conversations Launched!

Friday, July 28th, 2006
We just started DoTheChange.com’s Pioneering Conversations Project, an evolving series of discussions about, as Don Beck says, “doing the change the world needs done.”The first two we recorded are:(1) Emergent Web Working Group. On this call, we mainly discuss the context for EWWG, including how we can use our combined knowledge and expertise to evolve consciousness through the web. (Participants: Alex Rollin, David Swedlow, Farsam Shadab, Sam Rosen).

(2) Supportive and Evolutionary Habitats. Community and Lower-Left Quadrant master James Jones, of the Personal Awareness Institute, shares insights into the context and process involved in group dynamics. Another agenda-setting call. (Participants: Alex Rollin, James Jones, Sam Rosen – though I only made it for the last 15 minutes!).

Here’s the stated intention of our DoTheChange Pioneering Conversations Project:

“With our DoTheChange Pioneering Conversations Project, we explore how to turn revolutionary ideas into lasting institutions. We are attempting to inform to the emerging fields of applied integral philosophy, transpartisanship, and evolutionary spirituality.

“If you know any agents of change who want to discuss the intersection of evolution, consciousness, and emerging social and web-enabled technologies—or anything else that’s really, really interesting and meaningful—please have them contact DoTheChange at info@dothechange.com.”
